Itinerary

How does one begin to prepare for a trip that spans 5 continents and through 25 different countries? There are many schools of thought when it comes to buying the airfare. Buy tickets as you go or buy an Around the World ticket? We opted for an Around the World ticket through www.oneworld.com . By purchasing our ticket in London and NOT the US, we were able to save thousands of dollars! Timing was also on our side as the British Pound was at an all time low vs. the dollar (1.40).  We will fly on our own to Dublin ($250.00) then again to London ($30.00) to start our journey “officially” October 1st. www.flyertalk.com is a valuable resource when planning your journey.

Matt, this looks incredible. I’m guessing you already have connections in Uganda if you’re going there, but if not, let me know. Also, make sure you raft the nile while you’re there– one of the most intense experiences of my life. — Andrew Fraser.

Andrew – we do have contacts in Uganda yes. We will be working with the Kibbuse Vocational school which is located in the “west-central” part of Uganda. Send me some details on that Nile Rvier trip, sounds amazing! Would also love to hear where you have some contacts. Shoot me an email MWalter17@gmail.com
