God’s Own Country (Kerala’s motto)

After 48 glorious hours on the train this is what we were able to wake up to. The coastline of India is beautiful and so much different from the North. One hitch in the plans…we forgot how sensitive our Malaria medication makes us to the sun. After a day on the beach we are a bit red. It will be a few days until we are back on the beach, but nothing can take the beauty away from Varkala.

Hey guys! Your pictures of India look amazing! I am still so sad that I did not get to go with ya’ll. God had other plans. Calcutta must have been difficult but powerful. You must have been so relieved to see the beach after 48 hours on a train! We are praying for you both and can’t wait to hear all about your trip. Where are you off to next? How much longer are you in India? I see you went to jaipur. Seamus loved it there. He is in Casablanca at the moment. I miss you! Orla
