Internet down…bad news but good news.

Dahab, Egypt – Day 35 of 365.

You know that feeling you get when its the second or third day of a 7 day vacation. You start to get sad and then the “back to real life” pit in your stomach creeps in. Well on a year long JOURNEY (vacation it is not) that pit crept in on Day 3 like it usually does and now again – only 11 months left!

Internet has been pretty bad in Dahab so to our 3 readers we apologize for the lack of blog posts. Hopefully soon we can post pictures of this paradise on the Red Sea. We did end up getting the chance to visit Jerusalem, Israel, Palestine the Dead Sea and of course Bethlehem. Many amazing things to share about that 24 hour side trip – may be best told by photos so be looking for those.

Saturday we leave for 3 months in Uganda. We have been praying about and looking forward to this 3 month section of our trip for some time now. Pray that the work we are able to do in Uganda will be fruitful. We are not out to change the world but rather  to do small things with great love.

Mother Teresa said “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.”

We love you guys and miss you so much! Jax will be 6 months on Sunday! I always love looking at all your amazing pictures. Matt….you really should go into photography when you get back…..you truly have a God given gift. You and Amy should write a book of your experinces during this year long travel adventure. You could make a coffee table book of all the places you have been! Love you guys so much!
